Strategic Plan

To establish a sincere view regarding the appropriateness of the internal capacities and configuration of the Faculty of Social Sciences to the realization of its vision, two fundamental concepts that underpin strategic thinking (value-chain analysis and generic competitive strategies) were employed in scrutinizing the Faculty's operational effectiveness and competitiveness. The process involved the critical analysis of the activities that create the value that stakeholders pay for and an in-depth assessment of the Faculty's sources of competitive advantage. The process produced a comprehensive understanding of the strengths and required strengths through with sustainable advantage will be achieved.
